THE STORY

Built between Chile and the US.

MIA stands for *Modelos de Inteligencia Artificial*. It is also the name of Sebastian’s daughter. The work is personal — the standard is technical.

MIA Labs is a US-based engineering shop. GAP Tecnología is a Chilean technology company we work alongside on every Chilean engagement. They handle the commercial relationship, project operations, and local presence. We handle the architecture, the systems, and the build.

    No demos, no fluff. Every system ships with observability, evals, error handling, rollback strategy, and documentation by default. If we can’t run it in production, we don’t deliver it.

    If AI isn’t the answer, we say so. Not every problem needs a model. When traditional software is the better lever, we’ll be direct — even when it costs us the engagement.

    We build inside your stack. No sending your data to a MIA API, no lock-in to our infrastructure. The system runs where your data already lives — and stays there when we leave.
